Hi,
I currently row in a pair of reebok nano's, but see that a lot of people row in Olympic weightlifting shoes. I'm competing at the EIRC at the beginning of February so am contemplating a change of footwear, any thoughts on the suitability of these type of shoes?....
Cheers

Great service
I had an issue with my PM5 last week and after exchanging emails with Domenico at C2 UK, exhausting every possibility, they've sent me a new PM5 no questions.
Great customer service!!!!!

PM5 problem
Hi, This morning my PM5 won't switch on. The light on the back is flashing red but when I connect it to my ski-erg (I know this is the rower section but I figure the problem will be the same), nothing is coming up on the screen. Do I just need to change the batteries or is it something more serious?...

Re: Scwinn Airdyne vs SkiErg
Hi, I train on the rower at my local globo gym, but have both a new ski-erg (bought new) and an old style AD4 (bought off eBay) at home to supplement my rowing training. Both the ski-erg and AD are useful for long, steady recovery work, but I tend to try and do at least one conditioning session per ...

Opinions on Training Masks
Hi,
I know that these don't really simulate high altitude training, but some people use them as a way to help control their breathing. Does anyone use one, and have you seen any benefits from implementing one into your training regime?
Cheers

Re: Meters on a logcard
Cheers, the ones on the C2 website are £40 so didn't really want to pay that.
Thanks for the reply.

Benefits of volume
Hi, I've been taking part in the "March Madness" challenge (the 10km one), and although its looking likely that I'll fall short of the required 25 days (I've currently done 18), far from get jaded as the month has progressed, I've actually improved my times and got 3 PB's in the last 3 days. On Thur...

Meters on a logcard
Hi, I use a logcard to keep track of my meters at my local gym, but hardly ever log them on the site. I don't have a card reader, so although I have around 850,000m on my card, my profile only has 324,000m logged. Do you think C2 would accept a photo of my logcard as evidence that I've rowed a milli...

Re: Pacing a 5km
Hi, I'm going to go totally against the grain here and disagree with most of the replies. I'm only going on my own personal experience but this pacing strategy has given me some decent results over 2km and 5km. For a 5km, I would suggest (my own /500m is in the brackets): 1st: Fastest pace (1:39.8/5...

***Update***
After taking on board all the advice posted on this thread and starting upon the 2km specific training program advised by Edward4492, I tested my 2km yesterday and posted a 6 second PB with 6:32.9.

Re: Opinions/critique on my training program
Hi, Thanks so much for the reply, I'll take on board everything you've suggested. This is my first ever comp so its all new territory for me. My background is that I used to be a professional rugby league player but I retired 3 years ago due to a combination of a torn meniscus in my left knee, patel...

Opinions/critique on my training program
Hi, I've recently set my sights on competing in the English indoor rowing championships in January and have put together this program that I've been following for about 6 weeks now. I'm interested to get some feedback on what you all think and what improvements I can make in order to peak ready for ...

Re: Error code PM5 help
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I posted a photo on Twitter of the error code and someone said to hold down a button when putting the batteries back in so I'm gonna try that before I go to bed tonight.
Excuse my ignorance but what key?

Error code PM5 help
Hi, I was halfway through a 10km piece this afternoon and the display started scrolling though the different displays (watts, cals etc) without warning. It eventually stopped and I carried on working out. At the end the menu button wouldn't respond as if the screen had froze. I took the batteries ou...
