So, not having any citric acid handy (pure, anyway, gotta lime tree out back :-)), I finally got tired of the rust spots getting bigger, and grabbed the CLR ("Calcium Lime Rust" remover stuff) under the sink dumped a bit on a paper towel, slathered it on the shiny but rusty bits, and, it works. Stil...

My Model E is sitting here on my veranda in Anguilla. Got off the container a couple of weeks ago, and the house is full of boxes now, and rust, indoors or out is a constant problem (the sea is less than a quarter mile three directions, with a steady 10kt+ breeze most of the time. The PM4 is indoors...

So, I just unwrapped my slides, figuring I'd graduated to them by rowing an hour on Friday on my Model E, after a month of working up to it. I weigh 400lbs, now, more or less, from a starting weight of 418 in August. :-) First thing I noticed was that, when I sat on it, the seat "moved" to the footr...

I got a Model E a month ago or so. I'm tall, and, um, large (I was 418 lbs a couple of months ago, but getting smaller...), and the Model E is closer to me than it is to the floor, 'nuf said. No problems with the PM4 that an automatic over-the-net firmware upgrade -- and not poking it with a stick d...

So, it's fixed, and USB Probe works. Somebody on Apple's USB list gave me this: I had the same problem. I searched Google using site:apple.com and site:lists.apple.com and I found this, which worked for me. Using Terminal, remove KLog.kext from /System/Library/Extensions touch /System/Library/Extens...

...well, that was fascinating. I installed the appropriate logging IOUSBFamily version for my build according to Apple's suggestion, and it still blew up while when I started logging. I'll bother them tomorrow, to see if it makes any difference. I didn't detect any changes when I did the console com...

The Precis: I had a problem with the PM4 again this morning, which may or may not have been to a kernel panic on my Mac when I was using the USB Logger function in Apple's USB Probe to see what I could see. :-), details below if you want 'em. When I actually sat down to actually row this morning, I ...

So... I get back from a week down in Georgia, hop on to my brand spanking new Model E, and, no joy, PM4 has its feet in the sky. So, I figure, since I'm a total, um, N00b, at this stuff :-), I haven't been rowing enough to keep it charged, I take the PM4 off the erg, and commence, as they say in Pin...

Barefoot: Corns on Heels?
I'd like to row barefoot, but I've got this corn on the back of one heel, which makes it annoying. Anyone have the problem? What do you do about it?
