Re: Get back on rower after car crash
Thanks for your replies. I went to hospital after accident and they confirmed pain is due to muscle spasms. I'm still a little tender so I guess I'll wait to get back on the rower. I do usually swim too so I'll stick with that for now. I'm not competitive (rowing) so there's no hurry. Just missing t...

Get back on rower after car crash
A week ago I was involved in a head on collision, which has left me quite achy in my back between my shoulder blades and above my pelvis. I feel like rowing right now would not be a good idea. I'm wondering how to judge when to get back on the rower. Getting a bit impatient now but don't want to ris...

Re: Introduce yourself
Hi. I introduced myself on a post elsewhere on the forum so I've copied some of that across here. I'm new to this forum. I was a member of the old one a few years ago. I've been using the C2 since the 1990s (models B-E). I bought my own model D in 2006. I've lapsed a bit recently in the regularity o...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?
Recovering from flu & tonsillitis so using the beginner workouts from the C2 website to ease back into it before returning to my usual Workout of the Day. 5 min warmup (building up the stroke: arms only - full slide). 2x10 min (3 min rest) 22spm, av HR 157bpm, 2:29.3. 5 min cool down. I'm not as spe...

That explains it.... Rude robots! Thanks for the job you do. Definitely better than the robots (automated emails etc).

Re: Finger tendon sheath inflammation?
Hi. Thanks for your replies. My hands are pretty loose on the handle and I've already changed to having my thumbs resting on top, which seems to help. Piano fingers on the recovery too. I'm consciously avoiding pulling in wonky in case that had anything to do with it. Time will tell as I get back in...

Finger tendon sheath inflammation?
Hi. I'm new to this forum. I was a member of the old one a few years ago. I've been using the C2 since the 1990s (models B-E). I bought my own model D in 2006. I've lapsed a bit recently in the regularity of my workouts so I'm trying to get back into it, hopefully with the help of the forum. Right n...

Re: How to ask for advice about a product without being accu
I understand it's a difficult job. I signed up to the forum becasue I had a specific query and dived straight in without the personal context you desire. Perhaps a introduction to the forum section could be sign posted laying out the rules and etiquet to avoid wasted posts. I am still disappointed b...

How to ask for advice about a product without being accused
I tried to write a post asking a genuine question about a non C2 product but I received this email: Hello Abi-snail, You are receiving this notification because your topic "******** grips" at "Concept2 Forum" was disapproved by a moderator or administrator. The following reason was given for the dis...

Re: sore a$$
I use a gel rowing seat pad from JL. Really comfy. I use it on the water too. Always find the shape of the seats doesn't quite fit my bum, despite plenty of padding. Regarding bits that don't get enough of a workout from rowing.... The gluteus medius gets a bit neglected. Worth doing some mini squat...
