Re: Belly in the way of finishing the stroke
Hi guys, thanks for all the feedback. @Quatroux; I want to use the C2 to do high intensity interval training about 3 times a week, in addition to my cycling schedule, doing HIITwhile trying to row with the arms inside my knees will most likely guarantee a quick trip to the physiotherapist, so I won'...

Hi, I recently started training and eating right in order to to shed the excess pounds; I cycle about 20k every day, dunes are part of of the route so I have some climbing to do as well. :D I've tried the concept 2 some time ago but I found that my belly was in the way of finishing the stroke proper...

Thanks for the info. The main reason for me to consider the replacement is that I find erging on the model B somewhat heavy, I already installed the speedring Concept 2 provides, but that didn't solve the problem for me. There's no sideways or up and down movement of the flywheel and it turns quite ...

Have model B am considering getting a D
Hi, I'm considering upgrading my trusty Model B to a model D.
What are the pros and cons of getting a D instead of my B.
The model B is well-nigh indestructible, that's one thing I already know.

It's a thin plastic ring with so slipping it in should not be a problem, once it's in place it can be fastened with plastic ties.

Installing a speed ring on a model B
I just got a wind damper ring fro my model B from Concept 2. Since it is one whole ring,it seems to me I can either cut or saw a slit in the ring and then install it or I can remove the 2 screws on the flywheel side of the cage and then slide it in. I have no idea what will happen if I remove those ...

Advantages of having a speed ring on a model B
Hi, I am curious to know what the advantages are of adding a speedring to a model B.
It obviously blocks part of the airflow to the fan and makes rowing lighter, are there any other advantages?
My model B is completely standard, so far I've only replaced the rollers and the shock cord.
