The wooden handle is actually a little cheaper that the plastic one.

Handle holder
Ok dumb question maybe. I ordered the wooden handle and love it. The question is, is there a different holder to rest the handle on for the wooden handle? The one for the plastic handle will not hold the wooden handle well at all. If so I need to order one. Thanks for any help.

I finally switched to the wooden handle and it solved the blisters. Still have some calluses but hands don't hurt near as much. Worth a try and not too costly either.

OK, I am not a veteran by any stretch but I tend to agree with the slower rate people. I can not maintain a, to me, high stroke rate ie; 26-28 spm. I stay around 18-20 spm and I am doing fine. I am not trying to set any records except on my own times. As long as I am improving I am happy and getting...

Just hit a PB in the 10K. 40:37.3. Not the fastest but getting better. Will hit my first million meters at the end of the mud season challenge this month. Happy days.

I would highly recommend Geoff Neuperts dvd's. They are short and intense and will build a lot of muscle aka fast twitch muscle.

10k today. Felt hard after laying off for hunting season. I increased the damper from 3 to 4 and it felt quite a bit more difficult. Drag factor went from 103 to 124 and I really slowed down. I didn't like the slow times but will keep at it and see where it goes.
