Re: For Sale: Concept 2 Model D PM5 Rower (Black) in UK
Hi, I may be interested in your machine if you still have it. I have a D already but PM4 rather than PM5. My daughter lives in Richmond and I am going up there in October to dog sit while they go on holiday between 20-28 th Oct. For the last few days of that I shall have access to a car and will be...

Re: Average yearly meterage
I am looking to buy a used model C or D. I know that these machines are solidly build but what would be a high mileage machine? What wears out first? I see I am the other side of the country to you but I am currently selling my Model D - http://www.c2forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=160452 All the be...

For Sale: Concept 2 Model D PM5 Rower (Black) in UK
Hi everyone, Hopefully it's ok to post this here! Unfortunately, I am being forced to sell my Model D Rower with PM5 (black), due to moving abroad. I've had it for just over 2 years and have all original paperwork / manuals / tools etc. It was always used and stored indoors, and has now been transfe...

Re: Foot plates - loud squeaks and creaks
Thanks for the replies everyone, and apologies for not detailing my exact model / age etc. I have a Model D (PM5), which I've had for about 2 years now (purchased brand new directly from the C2 website). Will double-check all of the screws later today, but as far as I am aware, everything is tight. ...

Foot plates - loud squeaks and creaks
Hey all, I'm sure this has been covered many times, but I wanted to check whether it's possible to quieten down (or even completely eradicate) the constant squeaking and creaking from the foot plates. It seems to have built up recently and is now so annoyingly loud on each stroke, I can't take it an...

Re: Damper setting - I don't get it
Here's a question that perhaps someone could answer (sorry if it has already been covered, and/or is a really idiotic question!)... If two rowers are exerting the same force and SPM but one has his damper set to 3 and the other set to 7, which one is going faster/further? In my head it would be the ...

Re: Big stomach and rowing: how to?
Thanks for the really useful post... Very much a noob here, so I'm grateful for any advice that comes my way. I tried lowering the foot position to accommodate the gut, but found that my back was hurting a lot after rowing like this, so adjusted back up slightly, which helped. I do definitely strugg...

Paul Buchanan I am NOT. But I am lol Word of caution with the sprints - I ended up in a ambulance being admitted to hospital last Wednesday - Broken but not destroyed http://roadtosub6.blogspot.com/2015/07/broken-but-not-destroyed.html Wow, sorry to hear you had to go through that, but thanks for s...

Re: Any new models being released soon?
I purchased my Model D about 6 weeks ago and had the same worries as I was weighing everything up... Nothing worse than purchasing something only to realise that the newer (and usually better) version is about to be released! This isn't like buying an iPhone though (other smartphones are available),...

PM5 - ErgData logging same piece multiple times
Hi all,
To date I've had no problems using ErgData on my Android phone via bluetooth, but today the pieces I logged all appear multiple times in the app logbook, and do not sync correctly to the online logbook... Has anyone else encountered this before?
Thanks in advance.

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?
Hey guys, just started out on the forum (and with rowing/C2 in general - only a few weeks in), so hope you don't mind me posting my efforts from today (don't laugh too hard at the times - I am VERY unfit). I managed my longest continuous row to date @ 2,018m (9m44s) and two 500m rows @ just under 2m...

Re: New 1 minute and 100m rankings!
Hey guys... Sorry for the noob question (although I am a C2 and rowing noob!), but with regards to these sprint challenges (and all other challenges, come to that), how do you go about submitting a time? I have the PM5 which is connected to ErgData on my Android phone, so everything goes into the Lo...
