Re: PM5 versus PM3/4
Back in the day when I was active on this forum RowPro was the only way of online rowing and that was a bit hit and miss (for me at least). With the advent of Zwift for cycling and running what options are available to complete online against others. This seemed an approriate place to ask the questi...

Re: Bradley Wiggins BRIC
I think it is great for rowing and it is always interesting seeing how a great athlete transfers to another sport. Hamish Bond has been mentioned in this thread already and I am watching Andrew Tansley going from Pro cycling to triathalon with great interest. The pictures of Bradley ceratinly show h...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?
Today did a 10K row in 43:19.1 - tired at the end but not that surprising really.
Are any of my old sparring mates still on here - Yukon John, Yankeerunner, Jim Barry and others?

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?
Yesterday I did my first 5K in about 6 years and my first row in about 3 years 22:03 Reduced it today to 20:51.1. Hopefully sub 20 by end of April. It is a long-time since I have been on here and I must admit I dont really recognise many names on the recent posters Hi to anyone who knows me or even ...

http://www.concept2.com/crashb is working so the UK forum being kaputt doesn't matter too much. Working is a relative term. Concept2 should stick at what they are good at and forget the high tech streaming, radio this and video that. Having the results available in a nice text format available quic...

Well I just down loaded it John and tried it. Pulled 297 metres and it said it had uploaded to the C2 logbook. Indeed it had, but it had set it as 0 metres rowed, with todays date. The help states that you must have used IE to view the logbook before and I suspect you must have had to save username/...

Having a reasonably well read diary on the UK forum I don't think I would want to start from scratch on the USA forum. If the UK forum disappeared I suspect within a few months I might have stopped rowing. RowPro software and inter activity is good but the forum is not that good and not very active....

It is getting to be a joke now on the UK site. I for one find it very motivating and I wonder if it did not exist how that would affect C2 usage and eventually new purchases. As I have said on the site befoe, I am used to supporting live computer systems and if I had a track record like the C2 site ...
