I see C/R has a high and low version. The low seems to be the most commonly purchased, but it’s currently out of stock. I can’t really tell if one is better than the other. Does anyone have any advice on which to buy? Thanks!

I use the Garmin Vivoactive HR watch and the Garmin chest strap. The strap is very reliable and the rowing app on the watch is very good as well. With the Garmin, the strap supersedes the heart rate sensor on the watch and gives more accurate information.

Just improved my 1 hour personal best to 13,770 from 13,705. 66 years old, been rowing for just over 2 years. How did I miss this great exercise for so long! Still trying to get my stroke rate down; now averaging 26 spm. Any tips that would help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I suggest you look at the Garmin vivoactive HR. It has an app for rowing that does a pretty good job on stroke count and is ok with the heart rate (it comes with a wrist-based heart rate monitor). I purchased the Garmin chest strap and feel it does a better job of measuring heart rate. When used, th...
