The only advice I have to you is to limit your hip flexion to a max of 90 degrees.It may relieve some pain.

PM3 to be replaced
Thanks everybody for your replies.The folks at Concept2 are in the process in sending me a new replacement ,at no cost to me. Yes,this is an older model and there is an issue with the hardware.They were more than pleased to to replace the faulty unit. Hats off to the folks at Concept2 ! Shorttrack :D

Sounds like the problem may originate from the C spine.The nerves from this area of the neck directly affect the hands and fingers and arms.
