Re: RowPro online failure
How old is old ? I'm 51 in a weeks and still row online. Ah! Still a teenager then  (64 a couple of weeks ago) It is however as I suspected a psychological problem for 95% of people that they simply are not happy to just do their own thing and be seen to come last, be it by only a handful of p...

Re: RowPro online failure
Its unfortunate that the online rowing appeals to only a very small number of people. You need to have a certain personality type that finds it motivating. I really thought it would be huge and looked forward to the day you could go online at anytime of the day and find 30 or even 50 people rowing ...

Re: RowPro V5: Advanced Custom Row Studio
Hello, i have tried the sequence: Set up a Row > Custom > Create New Custom Row > Advanced.... and set up a custom interval row... but when i click save, then it wont appear on the list and i cant download it. It doesnt give any error info neither. Is there any other way or an online site for creat...

Re: Manually Logging Intervals?
I have a black model d with the PM5 monitor. The simplest way is to use a USB stick to transfer your results with the Concept2 utility. It does throw away "rest" metres, though..... Sorry! It doesn't throw away the rest metres. Nor the warm up warm/down metres. It was RowPro which kept refusing to ...

Re: Manually Logging Intervals?
I also learned how to use the USB stick to transfer workouts from the PM5 to the online logbook. That's a pretty quick and easy way to upload everything but from what I can tell, if you "move" workouts from the PM5 to the USB drive they're removed from the PM5. Am I missing something again here or ...

RowPro V5: Advanced Custom Row Studio
I never had much luck using the Custom Row Studio in V4.3 - it never did seem to do quite what I was looking for. I was therefore very excited by the new Advanced Custom Row Studion in V5. However, I had a bit of bother trying to get this to work at all. Using the new menu toolbar to access the Adva...

Re: ErgData App
I've not actually tried connecting with a cable to test this, but I do know that when you start ErgData it will ask to turn BT on if it is not already on. If you then refuse the App permission to turn on BT it will throw up another request asking whether you want to connect via USB cable or BT. I th...

Re: A "feature" of RowPro V5? Or is the cable defective?
Those lovely folks at Concept2 UK put me in touch with the equally lovely folks at D E Vermont here in Spain and my PM5 has been replaced under warranty.
All errors are now a thing of the past.
Fantastic service. Thank you all.

Re: A "feature" of RowPro V5? Or is the cable defective?
This is possibly a feature of the current firmware. The Concept2 dealer got me to test the machine without batteries. The PM5 powers up on rowing with no problem and so a defective sensor wire is unlikely, apparently.

Re: Error 886 Please help
I've got the same problem. The nice folks at the dealer suggested that this is possibly a firmware bug. The solution is to leave out the batteries for at least a minute. That works for me and I now store the machine without the batteries. The problem seems to re-occur when I reset the clock, which d...

Re: can I sync 2 PM5 with one logbook
Or if you can't do that, get the data on a USB stick and upload using your laptop. I'll second that. I've trained on ERGs in gyms and hotels all over the world. I've used my USB stick in those which actually have a PM5 (very few) or photographed the display (and verification code!) with my mobile p...

A "feature" of RowPro V5? Or is the cable defective?
I have just upgraded to RowPro V5. When I connect the USB cable to my PM5 I immediately get a warning that the timing cable is faulty and needs to be replaced. This is the only time that the warning appears - but it appears every time I connect the USB cable. Is this a "feature" of RowPro V5? A feat...

Re: PM5 Problems
How does the PM5 connect with ErgData wirelessly? The C2 website says you need either the iphone or android connection kit to do so. I run ErgData on my Android phone. Connection is by Bluetooth. Connection to my heart rate belt is by ANT+ and they both run at the same time. That has been standard ...
