Thanks - when the D was brand new, I found it awkward...

Re: Model C versus Models D/E - Prefer the Old to the New

It's totally weird...just that after 2+ years, figured I'd be further along...I think that, though my feet feel good where I've got them now, I might change it just to see what that does, per your advice. DF's are right on. Thanks!

Re: Model C versus Models D/E - Prefer the Old to the New

I feel like it's something structural. I will admit that I had 'fallen off' right around the time my gym made the switch, but I'd say my times are roughly 4-5 seconds worse per 500m for all events, than this time 2 years ago.

Model C versus Models D/E - Prefer the Old to the New

I am a 35-year-old lightweight male and I've set almost every one of my PBs on the Model C. Can't seem to make any headway on my gym's Model D, even after almost 2.5 years. Are there others who have experienced a rough transition or who have the solution?

Thanks,

[update] not much of a distance guy, I guess

Update: 500-1:28.0 1000-3:12.6 Thanks. I seem to have trouble with anything over about 5 minutes, but most of my training is geared toward 2000M, so hopefully this will change. Hitting a plateau right now--not making much improvement anywhere. What does "Bakes, undre 7:00. Even pacing" mean? --Murph.
