Squeaky Skierg (coming from Top Right Pulley)
I've developed an annoying squeak on my Skierg - its coming from the top right pulley (I think). It never starts right away, only after about 4k of skiing. The squeak goes away when I pull slightly harder on the left side. Anyone else have this issue and if so, what did you do to fix the squeak?

Are the Old Model B's Faster for Strong Rowers?
I recall using the old model B's in the early/mid 1990's (1993/94). I've never been able to generate the same splits for short pieces (< 1k) on any model C or D since. Perhaps the open cage created drag factors that are simply not achievable in a Model C/D/E?

Re: I wish there were more races in the Southern US..
We use to have the "Virginia Reel" in Richmond, VA in the 1990's. Perhaps with more of these "Orange Fitness" and Rowing studio's popping up across the country there will be more folks interested in indoor rowing races?

Re: Questioning Luanne Suplick lightweight 60min WR
All C2 results should be viewed with a gain of salt. For example, there is no way to detect a "flying start". Personally, I think all "records" should only be allowable at public RACES. Otherwise, its just too easy to cheat. I could get four guys and rotate them every 500m for a Skierg 2k "record" -...

Many thanks Carl! I just might bite the bullet and get a PM5.

PM3 Options for Connecting to Logbook?
Is it even possible to transfer workout data from a PM3 to the https://log.concept2.com website? If so I wondering what would be the most economic way?

Re: Laggy PM3?
Thanks Carl. I took a snapshot and attached it below. Is it possible to update the firmware on the older PM3 units?

Laggy PM3?
I have an older Model D rower (grey model) with a PM3. The PM3 seems laggy (sluggish) at the end of a workout. For example, if I'm sprinting at the end of a workout and sneaking in one last stroke - the monitor will not pick it up. On my Skierg (PM5) it always registers the final half stroke at the ...

Re: Concept 2 "Triathlon"
I think we will need to rethink this since C2 just came out with the new BikeErg. I'd love to see them update the iPhone App so there is a row/ski/bike option that records performance seamlessly without needing to spend time reconnecting to each device. I still think incorporating a run leg is impor...

Re: Concept 2 "Triathlon"
Ok, I finally did this. Zero rest. I'm lucky to own both so doing them at my home is convenient. My first attempt was a test, I'll do another "full out" test in two weeks. 5k rowing erg 18:58 5k skierg 19:54 5k run 20:40 T1 18 sec T2 8 sec I started my Garmin for the run right off the skierg. 59:59 ...

Re: Concept 2 "Triathlon"
Could currently do both the 5k row and ski in under 18 minutes with probably only limited rest (less than 1 minute) but would be 21:00 to 21:30 ish on the 5k run. Would be close to an hour with transitions. Definitely quicker than 62 minutes! A Sprint version could be 2k x 3. 2k row 2k ski 2k run S...

Re: Concept 2 "Triathlon"
Simple race - 5k rowing erg, 5k skierg, 5k run. I'm thinking anything under 1-hour would be a good time. Folks that can go sub 18 minutes in all three events would be exceptional. Who's in? I'm not aware of an adaptor for the skierg; however, there is one for the C2 Rowing Ergometer: http://www.paddlesporttraining.com/stan ... dleboards/

Re: Rattling Noise?
Update, I think the noise is actually coming from the top pulleys. You want them to be loose enough to pivot but not so loose that they jump up and down.
