We have a large number of entrants this year, but always room for more.
Watch the hoofers plod by while both knocking off a marathon row and doing a good deed supporting breast cancer reseach and screening.
Drop me an email if you are interested.

Triumph not Failure!
Two observations by an eyewitness to these events: 1) Debbie Benton, the only person in the room to have had both chemotherapy and radiation therapy in the last year, triumphed in this event. This woman is tough and determined. There is not a person who rowed that marathon who wasn't absolutely humb...

As Ernie P has noted our Newton Wellesley Marathon event covered nearly 800k. Since we began the event with the weathermen forcasting a Biblical scale Nor'Easter we rowed inside. All of us except, of course, for Paul Flack and Robert Lee who both set up on the curb and watched the road race. Lucky f...

ERG Marathon
We should talk about joining forces next year. We could really do this big if we wanted to.
Congratulations on another Sledge Hammer Marathon party.
By the way, Adam Holland rode his bike to and from the event and managed to row a 2:33:29 marathon in the middle...no trailer though.
