Eating right
FWIW, the idiotic "pyramid" is so full of utter excrement that it isn't even worth talking about. If you want to avail yourself of the most current and sensible approach to manage body fat, there are a host of resources, eg: www.proteinpower.com and go to the 6Week Cure www.paleonu.com www.nutrition...

Anthony says If your goal is to lose weight, strength training is irrelevant; sorry about that. He then references www.bodybyscience.net in support of his assertion. Well, I followed the link to bodybyscience and read: To lose bodyfat you’ve got to do the opposite: a very modest calorie reduction d...

i've lost 11 pounds in 5 weeks, all visceral fat as measured by tape and trouser fit, training x1 per week for 8 minutes total time on each protocol i do. Prior to losing the 11#'s I had done the same amount of exercise x1 per week for 10 years. The only difference was diet. so, at least for me, kin...

over what length of time are you working out; what is your basal metabolic rate. At the end of the day, your calorie burn is probably the equivalent of a pint of Guinness

eating healthy
Of course that's the issue, eating healthy. The horse crap put out by mainstream medicine and agri-business both contribute to the obesity epidemic and associated lipid marker elevations. And then when mainstream research puts out other horse**** that asserts that, well, it doesn't matter what diet ...

100 push ups - etc.
Yoda, no, I don't believe any of you all are trying to find ways to injure yourselves. Yet, if you do an exercise and you get injured, or discover a weak link in the chain, why continue to do the same exercise? But hey, whatever floats your boat. I float mine by staying a) as injury free as I can, a...

100 push ups - etc.
why in the world w/ pre-existing injuries would you want to do a program that exacerbated them, re-kindled them, ???? them? I just don't understand. Hell, I'm 71, have been strength training HIT for 10 years, have NEVER been injured by the protocol, have developed more muscular strength than I can e...

100 push ups - what a crock of an "exercise"
I'm really quite impressed with efficacy with which this "exercise" produces injuries. Looks like if your goal is to get injured, this is the way to go.
