I had a similar experience recently. All rows were being set to LWT by default.
Fixed it by going to my C2 log on the website (using PC and browser)and selecting HWT instead of LWT. All rows uploaded from Rowpro since then show as HWT.

Re: Oartec Slider
The C2 dynamic works with RP just like any other model with a PM3 or PM4. And, of course, a C or D on slides is dynamic (if you have the space for it)... Bob - Thanks. I have tried all of the dynamic erg options (at HOCR) & agree that the Oartec feels very smooth, but it is enormous. Given space li...

Re: Oartec Slider
Did Pam or Pete from Digital Rowing say they are developing a version of RowPro for the Oartec or are committing to support it in some kind of compatibility mode ? I would love to move to a dynamic machine (from my Mod C - which remains solid as the day I bought it - over 10 years later) & like Carl...

Re: PM3 and RP erratic pace and stroke rate
Carl - Thanks. I have a feeling the sensor or cable may be pooched
OR there is some problem with RP.
Cheers. Patrick.

PM3 and RP erratic pace and stroke rate
I have a Model C with PM3 (upgraded it just under 3 yrs ago) and have used it on both a standalone basis and connected to RowPro with no problems until the past few months. The PM3 has started to display increasingly erratic pace figures and stroke rates. It started as the occasional stroke showing ...

Re: New Wolverine Plan Thread
How do i go about calculating the target split? can I based it off of a 6k? While I agree with Bob that you can use Paul's Law or some similar equivalence calculation, you should really do a max effort 2k. I know that it is an ugly and intimidating thing, but a reference effort at that distance is ...

Re: New Wolverine Plan Thread
Hi Gnu, Mike C covers the differences between the levels pretty comprehensively in the original WP document (see first post in this thread for a link). The key difference is that Level 4 has strictly set rates and associated paces and one starts the season at a very low average rate (such as 18spm) ...

Re: Ranger's training thread
Rich - As you have suggested in a number of posts, you can only do your best. It would be great if you could show up and race at WIRC 2012, do your best (whether it is 6:16 or 7:02) and be gracious in victory (or defeat). In accepting the fact that you have done your best, you would enjoy the event ...

Re: How do I edit my best 2k time in the rowpro software
When I sign up for a session using my name and location show up on the participant list but the best 2k time shows as 44 seconds. I would like to update and correct this. How do I accomplish this. any Ideas? It is a bit awkward. You need to sign in to the Digital Rowing Website - http://www.digital...

When I was 52, I did this, as a total novice, rowing badly... Rich - You might consider that your personal motivation to erg came after 25+ years of running. While I don't doubt your ankle injuries played a role, is it not possible that you had also become a bit bored with running ? You have pointe...

Re: Too many meters
Everyone's limit is different, but you might want to ask your coach about what their expectation is around rest & recovery before adding more work to the program. A decent coach with a well thought-out program should be setting expectation about ALL of your training, not just your OTW workouts. One ...

Re: Ranger's training thread
If you don't have a lot of self-assurance, you'll never be any sort of athlete...Whatever they might appear to be, there are no meek, self-effacing athletes of any note or significant level of accomplishment... Rich - There may be a bit of a semantic gap here. I agree that one needs a healthy ego t...

Return to the WP - OTW and OTE
After a winter and spring of living in hotels and airplanes, I finally got back to rowing and erging regularly a few weeks ago. To date, not a lot of planning, just showing up on RowPro and doing some fartlek type stuff (e.g. 12K at 1:56/1:52, alternating between paces each 500m) with an online ergi...

Rich - Popped into this thread for the first time in many months & see not much has changed. It is great that you keep fit and enjoy doing so. I salute your commitment to a healthy way of life and that you have moved from running to erging and rowing as the primary means of doing so. They are both l...

Re: Attempting an FM
The advice above is good, but I would make one addition. If you are doing it alone, you are going to need something to keep the old noggin busy - TV, music, movies, whatever. Make sure you have it set up so you can keep it going for the full duration. I have done one FM & it was with a fair sized gr...
