Pete Plan Help
So I'm looking at the beginner Pete's Plan. Week one says: 5000m 6 x 500m / 2min rest 5000m [20min] [2 x 10min / 2min rest] So do I do all of that everyday for week one? That seems like a lot. Or is each line a different day? If so, when do you insert rest days? Sorry for the basic question, I'm ver...

Re: Weight Loss Support
I watch netflix or youtube videos it does make the time go by. Sometimes I cover the monitor with a towel if I'm doing a long distance (5k or 10k is long to me). I also like to use Rowpro and use my previous rows as paceboats (or ghosts if you're a gamer). Most people can out row me without effort, ...

Re: Newbie Confusion
I think my technique is probably lacking. My legs don't feel it on the drive. I've chalked that up to be fairly short (5'6" or 1.6 meters). And I'm out of shape at 250lb (113Kg).
I will look into posting a video and get some feedback.
Thanks,
Joe

Newbie Confusion
I'm really confused. I noticed somebody on the FB group rowed a 2:00/500m at 18spm. I don't know how you can row that fast at that low spm. For me to get near a 2:00 I have to row at about 28-30 spm. Which I can't do for very long. Does this have something to do with drag force? (DF confuses me too....

Re: Question for the Guys
I appreciate the replies and the euphemisms. I rowed a 750 today and before the row I sat down and did some 'adjusting' of things. It helped a lot. I might try some compression shorts and see if that eases things. I also thank you for the encouragement. My times are slow, but one day I can look back...

Question for the Guys
New to rowing. I'm out of shape (5'6" @ 250lbs). Trying to get back into shape via rowing. Rowed 5000 last night at an embarrassing 28:05. but it's still faster than the guy sitting on the couch. But my question is (ladies stop reading here), is my testicles really took a beating during the 5k. So I...

Where is everybody?
So I just tried RowPro last night? I envisioned an online area with lots of people wanting to do some quick races, but instead all I found were scheduled races, the closest one was about an hour away and it was a 30 minute row. So am I in the wrong place? or is this all there is to the online rowing...
