Re: looking for Canadian or 50+ team to join for upcoming Jan team challenge 2019
Hi Heather, On your online logbook 'click' on 'Teams' in the blue band at the top of the page. Then select Team Canada from the dropdown list under 'Your Team' and then 'Join Team'. That will sign you up for the Virtual Team Challenge. If you also want to join the team for the year round rankings th...

Hi Heather, Team Canada usually does respectably in the challenges - lots of 50+ rowers too. It is open to join as far as I know.

Re: Looking for used PM2+
Finally made the trip to the crawl space and we do have a PM 2+ :) It has been there for years but seems to be working. Do you need the arm as well or just the unit? I am in Canada and expect it would be $20 or less to mail just the unit to Hawaii. Let me know. Cheers Mary https://i.imgur.com/YbbdB3...

I wonder if they have removed that feature from the newer version...you could send them an email. Good luck.

Re: New to RowPro: Wizard Heart Rate Recommendations Too Low
Did you get this figured out? Found I still had RowPro on an old laptop...its version 3.014 but assume the menus haven't changed too much.
Go to 'Control Center' then 'User Profile' then 'Advanced HR Settings' (bottom right).
You can set: Age Based Default; Max HR; or AT HR
Hope this helps

Re: New to RowPro: Wizard Heart Rate Recommendations Too Low
Haven't used Rowpro in a while but I seem to remember having the same problem. For the lower intensity workouts any effort at all would send me over the suggested heart rate. I think I focused more on stroke rate and pace for the workouts. Indoor sports services suggests a way of determining your ma...

Re: Log Card problems
Not familiar with the PM5 but if you still have your PM3 there are some ideas here http://www.concept2.com/service/monitors/pm3/troubleshooting/logcard-issues . I have had errors/unreadable cards in the past and have been able to successfully repair them using 'Resolution 2' from the above link. Som...

Re: My 3 year (5 million meter) story
Terrific idea....I might give that a try. Thanks!I used a wall plate hanger. It means it's easy to take on/off, and didn't involve any changes to the rower itself. It also means I can take it with me and use it in a gym (as I have done when on holiday)

Great story - thanks for sharing! Having a set 'plan' definitely does make a huge difference in terms of motivation and commitment. Congrats on your upcoming 5MM.

Re: Smartphone Cradle?
The older cradle worked with almost anything - we used it with a MS Surface tablet and Blackberry Passport.
It looks like they have changed the design though. You might want to ask them for dimensions. Sorry not much help.

Re: Advice/can I improve my time by a lot?
Hi Rowmania, Sounds like you have made good progress on your 2k time. This season my goal has been to improve my 2K time - ideally below 8 min as well. I am female, 53, 5'7 and 158lbs. For the past 17 weeks I have been following the Pete Plan https://thepeteplan.wordpress.com/the-pete-plan/ and have...

Re: Logbook & timed intervals
The new C2 utility does result in the rest meters being separate from the intervals. In the online logbook you click on the magnifier (right column) and you will get a display like Sjors. The older versions of the C2 utility doesn't do this. Alternatively, if you export to CSV file from the logcard ...

Re: RowPro heart rate bands
For what it's worth, I tried the RowPro workouts a few years ago but never felt I was getting much of a workout either. I did the UK Indoor sport workouts http://indoorsportservices.co.uk/training/interactive (weight loss and 2k) for a few seasons and found them better. I am currently in Week 7 of t...

Logcard - transfer user
In the past, I have transferred a user from a 'shared' card with multiple users to a new card with one user. All workouts , favorites, etc. were transferred. I believe it was an option on the PM3 monitor but it could have been the C2 utility. Anyway, I am trying to do this again and no longer find t...
