You could look at the race resulst on the C2 UK page to check out race stroke rates. Here's a link to the results for the '07CRASHB's Men's Open Hwt race. I did wonder if Christine Buschbacher rowed. (It's amazing how fast the results from races in the UK appear online - usually with splits & stroke graphs for everyone the day after the race! So often results for US races appear after a week or later.)
