Steering a single via an app on an ipad
Been told that scullers are steering the Head of the Charles using a map app on an ipad or iphone by marking the ideal route before hand and then following the line in the race. Is this true? Anybody know what app is being used and how useful it is? Thanks.

Seat height on dynamics
One of the comments I have heard about the dynamic is that some users find it difficult to get full range of movement at front stops, finding it difficult at low rates to get the shins to vertical. I purchased a second hand dynamic which came with a 2cm lifter fitted under the seat. Tried it with an...

Replacement drive cords for dynamics
Just been quoted £35 by concept for a replacement cord for my dynamic (including delivery). Re: Rowing Lane Ropes
Many years ago raced on a welsh reservoir which had lane buoys on un anchored 2.2km wires. Fine till a good crosswind got up and middle of course was about 100m out of line. They re tensioned using a tractor. Tying off shouldn't be a problem. Put in anchor point and fix winch to it. Tie a loop into ...

Re: Dynamic Versus D/E
Reference the range of movement issue: I have purchased a used dynamic from OUBC which came with a 2 cm spacer to lift the seat. Feels much easier to get up to front stops and makes set up closer to seat to feet height for real on water rowing

Re: Model D Handle Not Retracting
Replacing the end cap is easy if you start the screw into the retaining hook before offering it up to the machine, then use a screwdriver to hook it over the horizontal bar and then tighten.
