After reaching my millionth metre on Friday I achieved another first today - my first half marathon - in 1hour 36mins 40secs - at an ave of 2:17;5 - this is 36 mins than I have ever rowed before! quite pleased with myself - again<br /><br />ojmit

ojmit again - got my appetite back for rowing now and are going really well at the moment - new 60 min best yesterday - 14106 - first time over 14000 for the hour - i have also set pbs for 20 mins (5043), 25 mins(6101) and 40 mins(9683) over the last two weeks - I had a real bad spell prior to that ...

I felt fine apart from the pain in the rear end - I just could not get comfortable - switching from one side of the seat to the other constantly for the last 10 / 15 minutes! lungs and legs actually felt fine...

thanks for the advice - just can't seem to qiut the smokes just yet - BUT - I finally managed the 60 mins this morning!! only 13422 m's but I feel a massive sense of relief at finally getting the hour under my belt! The last ten minutes were pure agony!!

Right, I have now been rowing on the machine for six weeks....I started off at 9:20 for 2k. My new pb is 7:38. I also do 5k in about 21:30. I have done this every day for six weeks with about six rest days in total. I feel pretty good and it has helped my squash game enormously. I have huge blisters...

Thanks for the advice! I am rwoing every day at the moment - scared if I don;t I will lose whatever fitness I have gained - still on the ciggies - but coping - what do you suggest for 'rest' days - one a week or two....cheers
