Training

I actually had the same 2k time as you this year during the season. It was my first year rowing and I had the same dilemma. I started the year rowing an 8:08 and dropped about 10 seconds a month training 3 days a week on the erg. Then it seemed that I had plateud. I was stuck at around a 7:45 range ...

Training

Does anyone have a link to a page where it has splits on one side and final time on the other? I tried using the concept2 split conversion thing, but I couldn't figure it out.

Training

Dropped my 2k time from a 7:47.5 down to a 7:43...I know i can break 7:30, I just ahve to train myself to go harder the 3rd 500 meters. Not a great time for a guy my size, but I'm getting better every test.

6'0 150 pounds

Training

Thanks for the info. My school's team doees train on concrete, so it does make for a slippery surface. I think my stroke definately needs work, but I do believe that the model D's move more than the model C's.

I made my signature one day when I was bored. Glad you like it

Training

I train on both the C and D model rowers and was curious about movement on the erg. I notice on the C the erg never seems to move, but the D moves about 1/8 inches forward every stroke. The harder I pull, the faster the model D moves forward. Technically, I am moving the "boat" the wrong way if the ...

Training

This is my first season rowing and so far it has been a lot of fun. My season began with a struggling start, but after training over the winter months I quickly began progressing. After dropping my 2k time from an 8:08 to a 7:52; and dropping my 6k split from a 2:10 to a 2:03, I was quickly catching...
