CrossFit Open Competition

Anybody else trying to do this?

I'm hoping for some rowing in one of these workouts. Praying there are no muscle-ups or pistols.

Re: Erg/Rowing Triathlons

Never done an actual -athalon that involves an erg, but many Crossfit (http://www.crossfit.com/) workouts include erg components...and they can be brutal. A multi event race including an erg would be a lot of fun.

Re: What's a 2k erg test comparable to?

They kind of remind me of hard wrestling matches in high school/college. Similarities: (1) 3 two minute periods. About same amount of exercise (2) Lots of muscle groups in use (3) Aerobic capacity matters more than you would think. Hard matches often ended up anaerobic. Diffenrences: (1) You rarely ...

Re: can i synchronise rowpro ?

If you bought a 5PC license then I believe it is easy to authorize more than one PC to run RP.

I use it on two different laptops in two different locations. Data from sessions are saved locally on the PC, but you can upload them to the C2 logbook.

Well said! Here's one of my favorites that always makes me think of that moment of truth at the CRASH-B's....when you are staring at a PM4 screen that says ATTENTION....and you know, that in an instant, you will see... ROW "Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ...

As a participant last year, I can vouch that this is great fun for a good cause. Fred has a terrific location right on the course, ánd I felt very safe rowing a marathon right in front of a hospital...

I'll be back this year. Looking forward to it.

Great job capturing the feel of the place. My 9th year. I always get a bit nervous. Always happy I did it.

1. Enter the RP log. (I think it is part of Control Center) 2. Right click on workout you want to enter in to C2 rankings 3. Select "export to C2 log" (or something like that) 4. Wait a bit...Takes longer for longer rows. Done. You do need to enter you C2 log number into RP settings. I think I found...

Great place! Been 4 or 5 times for the 1 week sculling camp in June & July. Nav described it well although I'm usually so tired that night life is irrelevant. Not actually owned by Concept2. I believe it was sold to a newly formed non-profit organization formed by the founders of C2. One of the brot...
