I hate them and just cant make them a part of my weekly training.Recently I have been doing 10 X 1k with 20 secs recovery and 5 x 2k with 40 secs recovery, am I getting the same affect as a 10k without stopping.

All I can say is I am am what you would call a fairly decent runner, I train regularly sub 6min miles with my hr in the high 70s, its tough but I am in control.<br />I am on my knees puking after an erg session woth the hr in the high 70s, just cant understand it myself

First post here but I have trained on the erg for a few years on and off,the thing is I cant stand long rows anything over 5k and I lose the will to live. I am ok with intervals and hard 5ks but when reading on here I feel I should be doing plenty of 30min plus sessions.<br>I have a 7.14 2k a 19. 23...
