Re: Fans
I use a box fan aimed at me from the front, as well as a C-Breeze, which rewards you the harder you pull. It does lower the DF a bit but you can compensate by raising the DF on the erg and checking the value on the PM.

Re: RowPro pieces not marked as sent?
Just a quick followup - the logbook started working again out of the blue. Strange!

Re: RowPro pieces not marked as sent?
The thing is, that card works fine with RP, 60fps, no issues. And the problem with the rows not showing as uploaded has nothing to do with the graphics card, since all the rows before Jan 13 show as uploaded (and they still do). And I've been running that PC for months that way. Anyway, clearly the ...

Re: RowPro pieces not marked as sent?
Hi Carl, hope you are well and thanks for replying! I'll look into the automatic setting. I don't know what changed, if no one else is seeing this issue with the logbook. The PC is dedicated to RowPro and is only used when someone is on the erg. I tried 5.8.0 and only got a black screen when viewing...

RowPro pieces not marked as sent?
I was running RowPro 5.7.6 for Windows (10) and noticed that starting Jan 13, under the online logbook, my previously uploaded rows still say "Send" even though they've been uploaded to C2. If I row a piece and send it, it shows as sent ("C2" in the Export column), and I see the meters in C2, but th...

Re: Model C chain idler pulley
You use a longer bolt with the same thread. The thread is 3/16" UNC from memory and you put a nut on it and wind it to the top of the head. You can probably pinch one from somewhere else on the rower temporarily to help you. Thank you Carl, this was a great tip. I had a long screw with the correct ...

Re: Model B and Model D drag
I still have the B I bought new in 1993 (museum piece! Carl, you're making me feel old haha!), but I'm using a decently-upgraded C these days. Does anyone remember that (I think) in addition to the speed ring, C2 once offered a 14T sprocket for the B that replaced the dual sprocket (13T/15T) and mad...

I wish I could, but in the summer time by the time 6:30pm rolls around here in Silicon Valley, my un-air-conditioned home is about the least-welcoming place to row I can possibly imagine! :) I usually row around lunchtime with Pam and some of the UK folks but if I ever need to get a late one in I'll...

That was my other initial thought, but upon reflection I would think rowing with the footstretchers in the wrong position would just be painful (and not just in the heels!), so I sort of ruled it out. I just did a test on my erg - putting the model C/D footstretcher a few notches too high actually p...

I wear running shoes on my erg. You know, when I first got back on the erg after some years off I remember some rubbing too. Esp. on the longer rows, 10K and up. I wore band-aids on the sore spots and took a day off here and there until it stopped bothering me. I suspect if you wear comfortable shoe...

Self-retrofit PM2 onto Model B?
I did a search and didn't find anything; forgive me if this has been asked and answered. We have two ergs in our family, a model B and a model C. I upgraded my PM2 on the C to a PM3 to use RowPro. I'd like to give my parents the used PM2 for their B (which has a PM1 right now), and it looks like it'...

You're not alone...I have seen issues like this occasionally. Once in a blue moon I get some sort of error when I exit RP (2.3) and it does seem to forget who the last user was from time to time.
But I can't reproduce these issues with any regularity...so not much I can do! They're minor, thankfully.
