Gatorade

Have a question about Gatorade, anyone have any side effects from drinking it? The short version..... I can train pretty good during the week and I do not drink Gatorade. ( I train at home ) rower, treadmill, excersize bike, weights. Then on the weekend , go out and try to train, or do a hard run an...

Nice progress! Good job ...when is the six pack start to show .... A WAG at 166 lbs. For me it is around 151. It looks better at 149 and best at 148. At 147 I get the hollow hungry look and my wife complains. What is WAG?......help me , I am none too sharp...... anyway, thanks for the props, I will...

Thanks for that info....life is full of surprises...
Just rowed a 2k in 7:30 with the damper closed, seemed much easier than open....but only slightly faster than before ...oh well, Ill beat it someday......its only a mere machine right?

So what is the difference in having the window open or closed as in drag factor?
Obviously closed makes it easier to pull, is that cheating when it comes to trying a max effort 2k?

yep...I didnt hesitate at all, I just knew it would be more fun to still play than waste away! I am 50 now and can still hang with da youngins...lol
I wouldnt be able to do that if I was worried my knee was gonna pull a trick on me.

Good to hear about your knee being a success...
Most people I come across are terified to have their knees fixed, but I know they will regret it later.

Fat Loss

As I am losing fat and trying to get back into shape, have noticed that the fat loss started at the extremities, hands, forearms, feet, calves, shoulders, lower thighs. Seems like it will be forever and a day to begin whittling down the midsection to the gloriuos 6 pack!Has anyone else noticed this ...

Changed to the smaller sprocket on the b model and dropped my 2k time from 8:00 to 7:37, it is a harder pull but definately get more speed this way...
any training tips on the best way to lower a 2K time?

I am 50 yo and 6' and 190 pnds 20.6% fat! ouch....hurts to type it.... :roll:
