Hi Dan, I'm just getting back into erging myself after a long vacation (actually to get in shape for cycling last winter and racing over the summer :D . It's nice to be back on the erg, but I'm trying to do like yourself and go easy to build up the different muscles (especially the back) needed. It'...

Hello Eh Team, I've had a great summer of bike racing and am now looking forward to some erging. I see some great times posted! I'll be taking it slow mixing some time on the erg with some cycling (while the weather holds :? .) I've got one or two races left. Hopefully by mid September I'll be back ...

30,000 to go :D :D :D I tried adding more detailed points on the California and Alaska coast. Hope I did it right. I've always wanted to row the Inside Passage...maybe we can take that route, eh? It's more scenic and I have read of a pair who rowed it, one in a kayak, the other in an ocean rowing s...

Its great to see more names joining our ranks. I'm sure we'll be back in Vermont before March. I learned a lesson today. Always know what your PB is for an event. I'd decided to do 60 minutes today and all was going well. I was projected to be around 15800m and was pacing very evenly. I thought my ...

I was just looking at the Eh!Team Google earth file and I noticed a row posted by Mark Keating! Welcome back Mark. Mark is one of our orginal rowers from the Cross Canada Row. Keep on rowin', eh. Jim It's great to see Mark back Eh? Speaking of "Eh", Mark was the originator of the Eh Team. I wish I ...

Hi Bob S. Don't worry about your remark, it was no big deal and it was nice of you to appologize :) Thanks. Sisu, you will have to contact Louis-Eric if you need a copy of the e-mail, since he is the one who was in contact with them. Dan, My daughter has two guinea pigs too! This was educational for...

Rob, I didn't get an invitation either. I emailed my info anyway - but so far I haven't heard back. In any case, looks they made it to #1. They may be in first place for total meters, but with that bloated membership, they are well down the list for average meters per member. Bob S. I think people ...

Welcome back Michelle!!! I didn't know that Team Canada had started their own team for the club listings. Yesterday I sent a pm to their organizer inviting him or anyone else from the January Challenge Team Canada group to join the Eh Team once the Jan. Challenge is done. I haven't heard back. I'll ...

I got the e-mails too. It would be nice if there would be some way to invite the Team Canada people to join us for rowing round the world once the January Challenge is done.

I can't speak for the other men here, but in my defense I would like to state that of my 41,836 metres so far, I have set new PBs in the 1K (CTC R24), 10K and 60 minutes (15836m), so have not been taking it easy! B) IIRC March 7 was my guess for the RTW completion. Looking good I think. Dave...

I'm not sure personally John if the recumbent gives a harder workout than a upright bike. I've had some very hard sessions on the upright! A point of interest on the individual that I support that has epilepsy. This could all be coincidence, but I started working with this person 9 years ago. At the...

I'm glad that everyone is enjoying their trainers. The Avenir has been working well for me, then the back tire went flat due to being worn out with time and I've not yet replaced it. In the meantime someone was getting rid of a Tunturi indoor recumbent cycle, which I picked up for a friend of mine ...

I'm bringing back an old thread here with some new info. First, Grams, if you happen to read this, how is your recovery going and how do you like the indoor cycling? A few days ago I received my new trainer in the mail. It's a Kurt Kinetic Rock and Roll Pro Trainer. I ordered the Pro Trainer so I wa...

This is pretty inflammatory! If your goal is to stir up trouble, congratulations :( . How about having a pole having to do with supportive people or something else that is less negative :) .) John
