Full leg cast
My leg was broken and it’s in a full leg cast. 3 months before I can get it off. I am terrified of losing my fitness bc of this i duct taped a pillow to the foot hold and can row. But I’m wondering if any of you have knowledge of a better way to do this. Thanks in advanced.

Re: Myofascial Pain Syndrome - Pinched Nerve
Thanks for your helpful reply. I'm not round shouldered (sloping forward). Though I didn't do the procedure you described I have further consulted with my physician and it has resulted in my description here: http://psychling1.blogspot.com/2015/02/ ... nerve.html

Re: Myofascial Pain Syndrome - Pinched Nerve
I was right. No shot of cortisone. Stay off the erg for a good long time. Admit mortality.

Myofascial Pain Syndrome - Pinched Nerve
http://www.ehealthstar.com/shoulder-blade-pain.php I think I'm correct in the identification of an overuse injury to the nerve associated with my (R) scapula. A pain that begins in the muscle near the scapula and extends and descends down the anterior of the arm to the little finger. As it approache...

Sandbagging
Of a paranoid mentality in general I've noted during this recent Virtual event that it is possible to `sink' a team by joining it and doing diddle. But, the team average ranking is a function of the total number meters rowed divided by the number of people on the team.
Just wondering.
Just wondering.
Re: Sore butt
A timely thread. Thank you. I put a bunch of foam pads on the C2 seat and lashed them with cable ties (north/south). That worked for a while until it became a nice ridge fitting my `anatomy' almost perfectly. Like a knife. Then the ridge began to impinge on the superficial perineal nerve ( http://en...

Re: if only one fitness equipment allowed at home
The last thing I'd give up in terms of indoor workout equipment would be the C2. It is an all round training and exercise tool. I've got free weights, elliptical, Bowflex, upright indoor bike, recumbent bike on indoor trainer. All of these are important to me. But, keeping the C2 would benefit more ...

Re: Model d w/o the pm5
I contacted C2 direct and they informed me that they only sell Ds with PM5s. They did offer to accept and refund me for the PM5 I just bought last week. So, I think they did their best to accommodate me. I like that.

Model d w/o the pm5
I want another model but don't need pm5 bc I already have one. Will the company sell me a 'naked' D?

PM5 and Taking a Break
I just replaced the PM3 with the PM5 as I become more deliberate and consistent with my Erg training. Yesterday the plan was to crest the 200K meters on the current challenge. To do that I needed to knock out 21K meters. Halfway through the workout I needed to get up to respond to the call of nature...

Re: Cyclist Experience with Concept2
Butt pain issue. I happened to have some pink polystyrene sheets around when I first noticed the butt pain. It's not the kind of crumbly stuff you'd use as insulation. More the texture of the round (grey) pipe insulation but in sheets. I put several layers of it (<.5 inch) and secured it with some c...
