I'm pretty close. My first 2k was a 151, and nowadays my 10K PR is around a 153.<br>After only about 4 months of serious training. Hoping to drop my 2k into the 137 range and my 10k below 150 before too long.....

I train on the erg and on the water about 5 days a week. In my experience I am wayyyy more sore the day after a long and intense on water workout then I am the day after a long and intense erg workout, especially my abs and lower back. I can vouch for the validity of weight adjusted times. At my local club we had a 220 pounder who pulled a 6:30 versus a 145 pounder who pulled a 7:14. they had pretty equal technuiqe, so it was an even matchup. the 7:14 beat him by about 4 seconds, a huge margin over 2000 meters, especially on water...
