somebody else mentioned getting a sore throat from the dry air in the agganis arena. i've had a sore throat ever since then. i thought it was due to dry air, but then a *** DELETE - SPAM *** and cough drops didn't help. the doctor just told me i had a minor viral infection. anybody else have that?

if you wear running shoes or some other soft, cushioned shoe, wouldn't that weaken your drive as the shoe would absorb some of the leg's power? at the crash b's, i saw a rower wearing a kind of shoe with a wafer-thin sole, kinda like a lowtop wrestling shoe. not sure if the shoe was a rowing-specifi...

My question is whether it's ok to keep my heels planted on the footrest the entire time, and not lifting my heels off during the catch. Many posters here say that the heels should come up a bit (and xeno in rowing dvd's lets his pop up a bit too). but i find when i let my body slide far enough forwa...
