Thanks. For my purposes, it sounds like either one will work fine.

polar vs. suunto?

Hey all, We have a Model E with Suunto heart monitor and we also have a LifeFitness elliptical that is compatible with Polar heart monitors. Here's my question: Is there a reason to prefer one over the other (Suunto vs. Polar)? I ask because I'm going to get a Polar to use on the elliptical and am w...

I'm also a relative newbie (just a shade younger than you), and have been rowing as often as I have the time. I typically do 30 minutes or a 6k, depending on my schedule. I don't get to do it *every* day, but I do my best and try not to skip more than one day in a row. I also workout with dumbbells,...

FYI: I called C2 and asked. The official word is that the standard configuration handles people with an inseam up to 36 inches. They also offer an extended rail (costs $50 extra, no change in shipping) that adds five inches. Thanks to all for your answers... Now it's time to order. :)

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm assuming that Sir Steve Redgrave uses a Concept2? I guess another way of asking my original question (and one which anyone, regardless of height, should be able to answer) would be this... How far is it from the foot supports to the front edge of the seat when the seat i...

How tall is too tall?

I'm curious about how well the Concept2 rowers work for tall people. I'm 6'5" particularly concerned about whether or not the rail (or what ever you call the thing that the seat rides on) is long enough. The last thing that I want to do is to invest in something like this and then find out that the ...
