"c" model quiet kit (follow up)
As stated in a previous posting, I ordered the silencing kit for the "c" model. And WOW! What a difference it makes? I must say the I took this opportunity to also change the chain and the bungee. But the biggest difference certainly come from the fact that the quiet sprocket has a rubber ring on ea...

Upgrading a "C" model with "D" parts?
I was ready to order a replacement chain for my "C" model, than I read somewhere that it was possible to upgrade it with model "d" parts to get a smoother, and quieter stroke, by replacing with a "D" the chain, axle and sprocket that now come as two separate parts. Is this right? anybody done it? is...

Need a replacement battery cover for PM2
Finally found a good deal on an old model "c" within budget. Unfortunately the battery cover on the PM2 is missing, anyone got one to spare.
Thanks.
Rob
Thanks.

If that's enough for you and your satisfied, that's what count! I can't argue with that!Citroen wrote:The graphics look perfectly normal to me and it does the exact function it is designed for without needing any funky cellphone.

Re: model A on drag factor
The PM3/4/5 is not a micro computer. It is an embedded micro controller and still state of the art in that arena. The device still only decode the electric signal from the pick up, and process this information, something that a micro computer (iphone and ipad) could do with a lot more interesting o...

Re: model A on drag factor
as the mechanic is still pretty crude even today! What would you like to see? The point about a braked flywheel is that it can't get any simpler, and what's not there can't go wrong. I think you misunderstood my comment, I meant that I like that everythins is crude and basic, that's a big plus for ...

Thanks for the info. It's actally 24 x 3 / 14 (3 teeth per inch in a 1/4" chain) but close enough!

Re: model A on drag factor
........ and then it must display the drag factor if you program the PM3 to a model C. Possibly the A was very crude in the pickup but reality is the A is a museum piece and if your doing some serious meters just get a new Erg, things really have moved on and the Model C and Model D are a giant lea...

Re: model A on drag factor
Unfortunately, new and used concept 2 rower are simply too expensive for me. UHere, used model C are selling in the 900$-1100$ range, new one are 1500$-1600$ including sales tax!

model A on drag factor
I read on concept 2 website that even if you retrofit pm4 on the modele A it won't be able to register a drag factor. I clearly understand that since there is no damping control on model A you can't adjust the drag factor, but I don't understand why the pm cannot at least register a fixed drag facto...

Re: Experiment with concept 2 sensor
Thank you so much for this information, are the 3 magnets spread at the same distance from one another, like at every 360/3 = 120 degre. The reason I ask for the b model is that the pickup is readily availabe and easy to customize. Somebody as probably try this before? Is there any other sensor pick...

Experiment with concept 2 sensor
Can somebody tell me where exactly are position the sensor on a concept two B model. Is there more than one magnet on the flywheel and how far are they from the axle. While waiting to find a good used concept 2, I would like to experiment using a concept 2 pm on my actual Rower from another brand by...
