nothing at all wrong with rowing 2x a day - I've done it many times and occasionally will row 3x a day if I'm doing shorter sessions.

For me anyway it allows me to push a bit harder

I've yet to meet an OTW rower that loves ergs and now you have :D I love both and compete in both. They are two entirely different sports IMO but the way I look at it is every minute spent on the erg helps me on the water. I'll be the first to admit however I'll take a horrible day on the water (i....

Just to add to the comments about the air at Crash B's - i've heard various comments about it. Myself I didn't really notice it b...

the best part of the whole experience was meeting folks from around the world. The erg room at the hotel I was staying at (royal sonesta) was full all day friday and saturday and it was great talking to folks.

While the race was fun - that is what I'll remember most about the trip.

Neil, there is a thread here on how to set up the signature. http://www.c2forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=7480 i'd recommend finding people to "train" with even if its folks in the forum. We have an indoor team at our local YMCA and I also participate with my local club when we aren't on the water. It's a...

i saw it also and downloaded the software so I can try it at home, :D from what i can see it took 92 watts of power to keep it green which I'm sure most of us on this board could do forever. That being said kudos for the BL people to do as well as they did. I thought the forms were way off - even my...

Trevor I'm jealous you're back on the water - We're still buried in ice (Fish creek - Sarartoga) prolly another month or so away from any chance of getting on the water.
