@Rakserv -- thanks for the tips. Rowing strapless seems to aggravate it less since I don't think I am leaning back so much -- to that end, I seem to focus more on technique... Perhaps I was pulling back with my feet.
I go for ~45 minutes or so.
Thanks much though.

Lower Back Pain
All, Not sure where to take this one, and I don't have an easy way to record my form, but I keep seeming to injure my lower left back, just above my butt. Feels like something is wedged in there -- this is the third time I've done it. Trying to stay conscious of my form, trying to row "low intensity...

Re: Another newb needing advice
Pulling about an hour a day at this point -- the interactive program has me going 4d/week mostly in the AT band at this point with one UT1 sprinkled in there somewhere for the week. Using my "off-day" for 60m straight rows. Still not pulling even to the average for 60m, but posted my personal best t...

Renaming Workouts
Would be great to get the ability to rename the workouts. I did a 12', 1'r, 5', 1:30r, (x3), 12'
The PM5 lists it as: v12:00...5

Watt Output
Is there a general standard I should be aiming for? I'm doing a bunch of UT1 workouts right now as part of the Interactive Plan. Just curious what I should expect from watts (I'm still new at this). Right now, my UT1 workouts are outputting: ~130 watts. Drag is set to 122. XLS dump here: Capture.PNG...

Interactive Program Questions
Hey there -- Definitely on the new side, had the rower for ~6 weeks, logged 215k meters across a variety of workouts, finally starting to settle on on some strategic goal based work. Technique is getting *better*, also started going for longer rows at lower intensity. Like I said, trying things out....

Just wanted to add that this thread is really encouraging. Thanks for sharing, and c2 Forum Goers -- nice to see there's a spot on the internet where everyone *isn't* a jerk.

I mean to modify, make changes, etc. And who uses Lynx anymore?
But hey, send it to me, I'd love to take a look and see what it does.

Re: Heart Rate training bands definitions
When calculating these training bands, I seem the calculated against Heart Rate Reserve (HRR) and Heart Rate Max (MHR)? Is there a straight answer? I am using the formula from http://indoorsportservices.co.uk/weightloss/interactive?excess=10&sessions=4&level=2&weight=79&programme=Generate+Programme ...

Workout Tracking / Achievements
Hey all, This is going to sound ridiculous to you all, I am sure, but I have been tracking my workouts in Excel (exporting from the Concept Utility) and then moving the Logbook.csv data into my sheet. The end result is a monthly tracking of meters, weight, waist size. It tracks my workouts, training...

Re: Another newb needing advice
Just popping in for an update, for posterity. After following the "pull every 10 meter" advice, my SPM has settled between 23-25 depending on how vigorous I am being. I've also moved, entirely to 2500/2r x3 for my workouts. I've been tracking SPM, Heartrate, split times, etc. It's definitely getting...

Re: Another newb needing advice
Oh me, oh my. I only had 20-30 minutes this morning, so I tried two things: 1) Rowing 1 stroke per 10 meters as KevJKG suggested. 2) Doing the 2500m 2r workout. I can definitely see what you're talking about in terms of CV, SPM and power-endurance. I started well, but soon found my teensy arms tryin...

Re: Another newb needing advice
Holy cow -- thanks for all this, everyone. Curious as to how you calculate wattage like that. I know the machine will do it for me, but does that become the metric to watch, or is it SPM or is it split times? :) So much to consider. In terms of "Form" -- I'm realizing how hard it is to stay consiste...
