when going for personal bests at 500m or 2k m has anyone figured out how you should do it meaning: higher reps 30-32spm or 22-24spm and pull harder? Can anyone tell me how the rowing time correlates to running times. I've decided to take 2 months off from running and exclusively row. I know rowing has little impact on joints so if I start running I'll get some knee and ankle pain. But if I can do a 10 on the rower in 42 mins and if my legs hold ...

I really cann't inhale on the catch my stomach and lungs can't fill against my contracted thigh. I watch the forsome oarsman and it dawned on me that their chest and stomach don't touch their thighs. I cann't tell how they are breathing since they are breathing through their noses so you cann't tell...

I haven't seen anything in the C2 literature or DVD about breathing. Sure is hard to breath in on the catch. Do you exhale as you go forward in the catch?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Mark
