Re: Rowing with achilles tendonitis
Went to the fysio again, and it turns out I have a middle case of inward pronation. I currently barely use shows for rowing, I use a pair of diving slippers, just enough to avoid me having blisters. But they have zero sole, zero support. Never though about this having an impact, but yes possible goo...

Rowing with achilles tendonitis
Hello people I have been struggeling with achilles tendonitis for a way to long time, going on well over a year. Will go back to terapute to see what more we can do to help sort it out. I don't do any running, but often on the feet, walking the dogs etc so I get a fair amount of steps in. I also do ...

What's the best alternativ when you can't row
I'm struggeling with supraspinatus tendinitis, for the last 2 months or so. I was able to row somewhat when taking Volatren, but I stopped taking these a couple of weeks back, and now rowing just 4-5 strokes is really painfull. I have had this looked at by proffesionals, and have some exersizes that...

supraspinatus tendinopati
I started experiencing some pain in my left should about 3 months ago. As I mostly noticed it during nighttime, I was wondering if this could be caused by sleeping on my shoulder, and continued to row pretty much as normaly for another 3 weeks, After this I went to the fysio to check it out, and he ...

Re: Exercises for good shoulder health
So the bodyblade really is a thing? I mean no offense, ut at first look it looked like a typical tvshop product, like the countless abbdoer stuff. I might look into it if it's actually good, i would really like to strengthen my shoulder as it way to offend causes me issues and pain

Stroke rate for UT1 and UT2 sessions
I was reading the Concept2 article on stroke rate, and was wondering what was correct. Normally I do around 18SPM on my 75 minute long UT1 sessions, and then around 22SPM on my 45 minutes. Reading the article, they seem to suggest strokerate for longer sessions. Do 45 to 90 minuttes count as longer?...

Re: Exercises for good shoulder health
Thanks guys, appriciate the feedback. I will look into the exercicses mentioned in this thread. One more question, do most warm up before you start rowing, even for steady state rowing? I mostly go 10k and 15k rowing, and I just sitt down and start going. Once a week I do intervals, and then do a 10...

Exercises for good shoulder health
I dont know if this is realted to me rowing, or just overall bad luck, but every now and then I get issues with one of my shoulders. Normally it passes if I just take it easy for a a week or two. I'm currently having some pains in my left shoulder, and I'm thinking it's from rowing, or the fact that...

Re: Do wifi interfere with the heart rate?
I got to admit to im not wearing much when rowing, got my own machine so I can row wearing just shorts. I was sweeting good, but aside from that Wifi is the only thing I can think off, sitting right next the wireless transmitter. I will try moving it and see if it helps. I checked some more and both...

Do wifi interfere with the heart rate?
I have had some issues with my PM4 losing connection to my pulse belt the last few days. It would drop, not showing anything, then suddenly displaying correct pulse, back and forth. I figured it might be the battery going flat, and used my wife's belt for the rest of the rowing. But, this had the sa...

Re: My calf muscles are asymmetric after 4 months of rowing
I would like to know what comes out of your visit, as I know I have uneven feets as well. No idea if it matters at all, but I have been thinking about putting just a extra sole on the shorter leg to even out.
