Bumping the thread again. I've been running once a month and rowing about 3 times a month for the past 3 months. Lazy, lazy lazy. I did a slow 10k today. Hopefully I can get my lazy a** out bed tomorrow and do a short run.

SP Marathon

Sorry, I forgot to mention my time. 3:53:00. Once I knew 3:20 was out of the question, I really did not care what time I finished.

SP Marathon

Well the 'thon did not go so well. But I did finish. It was already sunny and warm at the start about 64°F (18°C). By the finish it was 82°F (28°C). The first 5-6km was mostly downhill and I went out too quickly. I was 21:58 at 5km (goal 23:20). 10k was 44:50 (goal 46:40) 16k was 1:12:50 (Goal 1:14:...

Sao Paulo Marathon

A week from today I will be running the Sao Paulo Marathon. My training has not been going as well as I hoped. Training was going great but then I got sick with a bad flu a 3½ weeks ago and missed a week. Then missed a few more days trying to get back into the rhythm again. Everyday I pretty much ha...

Geoff, My philosophy is a little different than most. I recently ran a marathon (4:03, first in 22 years) and hope to run another on June 4th (goal sub 3:20). I spent a little less than 3 months converting my rowing shape into running shape. I slowly increased my running and diminished my rowing. Yo...

Zurich Marathon

My brother and I finished the Zurich Marathon yesterday in 4:03:48. You can see the results here look for Peterson Andrew and Peterson Timothy. Or you can go directly to Brazilian results where I am both in first and last place. Before the race my brother and I dropped the 3:30 goal. He had not prep...

If the verification code is encrypted with DES, there's an awful lot of keyspace to search and I doubt Chad has any access to the kind of supercomputer to crack it quickly. ..... We know that the 16 hex chars of the verification code holds date, distance and workout time. So we have the cleartext. ...
