I hope to continue my slow and steady course. I feel better when I can row, and hope I can keep it up.

Thank you Jan. I'm still riding my bike, but don't want to chance irritating my sciatic nerve on the rower just yet.
I miss rowing and the friendly Looney competition, but I'm just starting to feel better after a spinal injection and don't want to mess it up...

No....One day. I missed a couple of days before that, and I felt guilty. So I made up time "for the team".

My birthday is March 13th....born on a Friday!
And gave birth to my son on March 13th....not Friday though, and many years ago. He gets to celebrate the day, but I get the week...if not more.

The weather at the start of the marathon today was perfect....54. But it has now risen to 75...not good for Barbara. Just to finish is such an accomplishment in itself! I'm proud of her!!!

For those following my non-1/2 Marathon, here is my reply from C2. I feel better.... Wow Pat thanks you for finding that. Our web team put it up wrong. We will defiantly grant you the 1/2 marathon certificate. I am running down to the office of our web person and get her to fix it ASAP. Thanks again...

Well, I just rowed my 1/2 marathon......or so I thought. On the C2 homepage, the announcement for the challenge states that a 1/2 M is 20,197. That's what I programmed in for my row. After rowing for 1 hr 45, I went to see what others are ranked at....and I found that the 1/2 M is 21,097! AArrrggggh...

I don't post much but am so glad I joined the JVC. I only started getting into rowing with the Holiday challenge, but more than doubled my meters in January. Today I redid the 2000 and bested my time by 19 seconds. My daughter is a coach for a high school team and other clubs, so I asked her to gues...

I figured it was new...with 0 posts. What do I know? I'm a rookie here...lol. I'll keep watching and waiting.
