LOL, Yes you are right, but I was sitting at 1.43 splits for the first 1500 and only finished at 1.45 in the last, so could have been 6.52-53.
But yes three seconds faster than my last 2k(which was a pb, 6.58)

Well coming up to my first 2k test in six months and not looking forward to it at all! Alow I have pulled another pb on the 80mins, at 201.7.
Injoying the training. A fresh approach for me.

Did the 6 x 15 mins( 18-20-22) Pulled around 21800 at 2.03 splits

Today was 90min made up of 8 x 2 min with 5' recovery
Went well for first time at 90mins covered 20023km, happy with that!

Well, after a long break through illness, started back to training yesterday! And It didnt go to well. Set out to do the the 70' ergo(2x20) And finish up being a 50'(2x10). Today was better, had a little more energy and completed a 60'(2x20) But still not firing on all cylinders. But I will get back...

Forsure, lifting is essential for building strength, but it doesnt make you move a single.
I lift twice a week to build power, but it doesnt replace sculling or erging.
After all thats whats its all about

ok, point taken If you look after technique and flexibility, you wont get back problem! I mean someone as light as me can work very well with 135 drag, a heavyweight should! Progressive overload, a little bit at a time! But when it comes to rowing, lifting is not that important, it helps. It is more...
