Heart rate monitors
I just obtained a Fitbit Charge HR to monitor my heart rate while rowing. Needless to say it doesn't fit the bill for me as it doesn't display constantly and is inaccurate. I have had the Polar and Omron with chest transducer but they didn't seem to last and I did not think they were that accurate, ...

Re: Suggestions for arthritic knees please?
I know knee pain from OA. I lived with it for 10+ years. It reached the point where an hour or two standing was all I could take. I finally had left knee totally replaced Dec. 2013, the right in may 2014. It is a new lease on life. I can walk all day long with no pain or limp. I was actually able to...

Re: Insane meters....
I personally agree with Carl that all meters be taken with a grain of salt. I enter all challenges with it being a challenge to myself and no one else. It gives me a self pat on the back by completing them. I'm sure that's what the C2 founding fathers have in mind. The challenges are great motivatio...

name witheld
Why does a team claim meters rowed in the challenge are by "name withheld"? One team has close to a million meters rowed by phantom rowers.

Re: 2011 Holiday Challenge - Meet the Goal of $30K
Looking forward to this years Challenge. Started Rowing in 2005, completing the 200k for the 2006 season. Haven't done the 200k since. Last year did 186,000 and fizzled out with 4 days to go! Started back up rowing about a month ago on a mission to lose weight and get in shape. The Challenge support...

Overtraining?
Having gotten back into the erg a week ago from a 9 month layoff and 30 lbs. my split times and/or endurance are getting worse instead of better. Is this a sign of overtraining? Started out with a 5k, then to 30 minutes, then 40 minutes. 9 workouts in 12 days, 55000 meters @ 75% or better HR. I'm th...

date error on pm3
The date on my PM3 reads June 25 instead of 24. How do I rectify this? I haven't checked on how far back the error goes.
