I'm thinking of buying an HRM as I read somewhere that for fat loss you have to train at 60% of your max HR over a longer period of time?
Has anyone had significant fat loss results from this kind of training?
Any advice on fat loss with regard to rowing would be appreciated.

Try an old seat cushion
Bubble wraps not much use when you're rowing 2 to 3 hours in one stretch. I've found a handy old foam cushion from an unused sofa, cut it down to size and stuck on a waterproof cover and it works a treat !!

It's now day 6 plus 14 hours as I write this mail, that's a total of 158 hours since the challenge started.
