Another New Year, another injury to recover from. Last year at this time I was coming back from rotator cuff surgery. I managed 200K meters for the challenge.
This year its recovering from back surgery. I had a microdiscectomy 5 weeks ago. I will try to better my 200K from last year.

I know we should be looking at the drag factor but what damper setting are you guys using for the 'half'? I have been using 5-6. I'm still not 100% from the rotator cuff surgery so this setting seems to work well for me. BTW, I'm 5'9 and about 167 pounds. I haven't really delved into the "drag fact...

That's pretty cool that he would take notice like that. I just came back from having my sutures removed. Doc says lay off upper body exercise for another week. Sorry everyone, that only gives me the last 3 days of the month for rowing for the challenge. I'll try to do as many meters as I can, thoug...

I did all the conversions to my WR when I got it and I love the bike but I try and do everything with it. I even did open race day at the MX track and I was the only guy with a license plate. I got a lot of funny looks. I need a street legal 450 that is nimble enough for New England Trails and susp...

Dude, that's an awesome time! My PB sofar is 1:33:20. That was after I rowed my marathon earlier the same day so I know I can do better. I'll try for better times once this challenge is over. Sean B)[/quote] After my shoulder grows back I think I could break into the high 1:20 range. The C2's are de...

Knocked out my first 1/2 marathon today. Stayed fairly conservative and finished in 01:38.10 . Did my last (2) 500 meters at sub 1:50 pace :D 7 Weeks out now from rotator cuff surgery and I think this rower has played a key role in my recovery and range of movement. My doctor can't believe how quick...

OK. thanks to Greg and Sean I'm on the team. I'm a 48 year old off-road motorcycle racer/runner/biker/MMA fanatic. Just bought my C2 PM3 about 4 weeks ago. I'm 5 weeks out from rotator cuff surgery so I'm kind of taking it easy on the erg. I usually do a 10k every other day. I run the trails with my...
