Re: Getting more data from my PM5?!
Stefan,
As far as export from RowPro is concerned - yes, it works for me without a flaw. Have a look in my post on the subject here (at the end of page 1):

Basic view in main page may look like this (screenshorts are big - you need to click through to the PhotoBucket website and click the magnifying glass tool there to see all the details): http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q629/pkiszk/ScreenClip_zpszjrotaml.png Main graph is my power and SPM (cadenc...

Re: Computer rowing analysis software ?
I use SportTracks ( https://www.zonefivesoftware.com/sporttracks/store/ ) for post workout analysis for my running, cycling, rowing, skiing, whatever. But that's the last step in the chain. In order to get there you need to: 1. Collect the data 2. Transfer the data 3. Analyse the data. 1. You can co...

3.5-4 in ma case (this is 67-71 drag factor). So much lower than yours, although I have similar times on a RowErg I am no match on SkiErg compared to you.

Nope. They stay what they are - the boats. RowPro does not have any other visualisations than boats.

Online (Ski)Erging
I suspect not all of the SkiErgers know that SkiErg (both old and new) is fully compatible with RowPro - used by many of us in the rowing camp. I use both machines and encourage everyone to get a copy of RowPro and start erging online. Any SkiErg with PM3 or later model works with RowPro via a regul...

Re: Is Skierg hand grip less "stress" than rower?
My experience is that there is a bit more tension related to gripping on the SkiErg vs RowErg - for the new SkiErg with strapless handles. I developed similar blisters patters as posted above, also during fast work on a 10k. But they go away after a while. I have recently tried an old SkiErg, and si...

Get RowPro, SportTracks and plugin for importing RowPro workouts into ST and you have all the info you want, HR, power, cadence and speed/distance.

Re: Resting Heart Rate - what "spike" shows overtraining?
From my own experience - HR variability (for example in the morning) can be large. As large as 15-20bpm. A good break in workout does the same (ie. lowers resting HR). I was surprised to see my HR while standing at my desk around 47bpm yesterday, which I have not seen recently. When I sat, I got my ...

Re: Resting Heart Rate - what "spike" shows overtraining?
I disagree with Daniel above. Resting rate is very variable, my lowest resting rate is around 40-44 but it does not mean that if I have a resting rate of 60, I can't do a proper workout ! There are many variables affecting the HR other than overtraining (stress, food digestion, lack of sleep, etc.).
