I have almost zero ankle flexibility due to who knows what (bone structure? tight ligaments?) I have very high arches on my feet. This is actually a severe problem for me for snowboarding, as I cannot get my center of gravity over the board. It probably also contributes to my shin splints. I've had ...

Well, I've still kept in the nuts, added other carbs back in like veggies and and berries, while still following the atkins in the OWL phase. I've also added back in the occasional drink, hard liquor and not beer. And once a week or so I've had a bowl of ice cream. The weight loss is now averaging a...

Well, my weight loss has definitly slowed down to about a lb a week. I'm currently at 181 lbs. I'm off tommorow to another convention in Phoenix, so I'll probably not be able to row. Maybe I can find a YMCA with a rower. I think one of my problems is that by purchasing the nuts, I find I eat them. G...

Row Pro Beta 2.2 Beta bugs and feature request
I am using the training plan set up by 2.2 All went fine until the the fourth or fifth week when the session went from a continuous steady pace to fast splits, slow splits. A feature request is to have the w/u w/d data uploaded as a seperate line item to C2 when uploading the training log to the C2 ...

Sorry about the drive by posting, I've had a little excitement the last week or so... (see my thread in weight loss) Needless to say.. Excellent responses, thanks for the visuals. I am wondering if the goal of the rowing session isn't speed or power, but weightloss and distance if the curve would be...

Well, I just got back from a trip to Disneyworld for a conference I was putting on. We had a medical emergency with the wife (non serious, but seriously freaked out the flight attendants, the passengers beside us, the doctor on the plane, the pilot, the other pilots who had to circle the runway, the...

Proper Powerstroke graphs?
I am not sure I am calling it the right thing, but on the PM4 display for every stroke you can see the power output per stroke on a graph. Does anyone have a link for examples of what the proper shape and duration of the graph should look like? With a little experimentaion on my form and stroke rate...

Well I weigh in every Monday Morning, and yesterday it was at 193, which means a weight loss of 24 lbs since thanksgiving. I went skiing in whistler over new years and I could definitely feel the stamina difference in my thighs curtesy of the C2 machine. I'm not really hungry during the day, nor cra...

Thanks for the advice john. I agree with you about the doctors. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.... Same goes true with lawyers. Which is why they shouldn't be in politics... lol Anyway, your diet is too ascetic for me, as I do love to eat and travel a lot. The Atkins see...

Uploading Results directly to C2 online log?
The FAQ for the online log section http://www.concept2.com/sranking03/rankingfaq.asp
implies that results can be uploaded directly from rowpro. I'm not seeing the function in the rowprow software.
I'm using rowpro 2.2.
Any advice?

The weight loss has slowed to about 2.5 lbs per week. I.m up to 40 min per day three times a week. As of the end of the 4th week (two weeks on the erg) I've lost 17 lbs. Being on a low carb diet hasn't been a problem with the rowing for stamina. I'm probably at about 25 carbs per day. The diet has b...

New to this --- Atkins Diet and Rowing Question
Hi All, I've decided to give the rowing thing a go today. My son is in crew and already has a concept 2 machine at home, so it will be easy to start. I started the Atkins diet at 217 lbs (I'm 5'9" 45yrs) two weeks ago, and I'm already down to 206 after 14 days (within the norm for the Induction Phas...
