2K sounds good.

My current PB is 7:33 so I'm sure there's room for improvement. :D

Now you just assumed it was me I was talking about. Yeah, the "old" threw me. :) By the way, where has Sean been? Is it still the heel? I noticed that he hasn't logged any meters in two weeks! We could have really rocked if he hadn't gotten injured. My intuition tells me that he has been rowing, bu...

Greg,

You've inspired me. Unfortunately I am currently in Longlac, nowhere near a rower! I won't be back home until late Friday. I'm hoping I can fire off a few marathons to in the last week to finish strong.

Yeah and building igloos too! :D

Short season? That's why I have rowed 428 Kms in the past 16 days. :P

You could move to civilization. You know, someplace like Iowa, where we have vintage MX racing and off road racing. You don't have any hare scrambles or enduros around there? We don't have much for public land to ride on, but we do have tons of racing around. Northern Ontario, Canada. The MX track ...

Put it together and start racing vintage. LOL. As the only contestant, I would win every time! :D The sad truth is that there is hardly much local racing here other than 80/125/250 MX. No vintage racing up here and with 4 inches of rear suspension travel, I don't think my back would last a lap on t...

I just can't stand the small paths and trails converted into "4-lane motorways" cause of the quads. I had a go on a Banshee on the Sahara dunes end enjoyed it very much, though! :D Ah but around here it makes for an interesting ride on those "two-tracks". It allows us to get inside each other and o...

Speaking of 4 wheels and dirt. I just got off the phone with one of the guys from Vermont Sports car. They make the Rally cars for Travis Pastrana. I guess Travis was telling them how good the rower was and He wants one. We may have our first Rally guy on our team. If you could just convince TP to ...

BTW, what do you think about quads? I had a Suzuki 300 King Quad for hunting and plowing. It was fun even just to putt around to see what you could climb or what you could travers in 4WD. I gave it to my uncle a few years ago because I hardly used it. I do like 4 wheels however, but only in the ful...

What is the motor on the bench, with the radial head? CZ? Sachs? It's an old CZ radial head, 73 or 74 I think. It was free but won't turn over so I tucked it away until I can open it up and see if I can make it run again. I have the complete frame, front and rear suspension/swingarm and the coffin ...

Among my garage hobbies, is that I like to tinker with bikes. However, depending on how many beers were consumed, the end results can be very different. Here is what happens when a bunch of leftover scooter and minibike parts get welded together after a few too many beers. http://www.gno.edu.on.ca/S...

A vintage (about 5 years ago) pic of my home garage. Oh and speaking of pitbikes, here is my favourite backyard burner. http://www.gno.edu.on.ca/Simon/Toughguy/toughguy/bike/mini_ripper2.JPG I peeled all the cheesy stickers to expose the Yamaha blue plastic and threw a set of fullsize handlebars on it. The 125cc motor has enough power to zip me along ...

Here is how I train for rocks. http://www.gno.edu.on.ca/Simon/Toughguy/toughguy/bike/Aug4-07_008%20(Large).jpg On my '86 CR500, 15/45 gearing (so I can top 100 MPH on the bomb runs) and 2 gallons of premix in my backpack.(along with some water and a couple Red Bulls  ) A...
