Re: Edon TS 515
I've had an Edon for just over 2 years down here in FL and am loving it. I row pretty well every other day 4.3 miles. Fitted a Speedcoach. I YouTubed the whole learning process (21 days) before removing the stabilisers here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0KSWlnxKhM&list=UUZEGk0uMPpHZ2zSRbGIcqGg G...

Re: Oartec Slider
Thought I'd better post a positive comment about Oartec's Slider - I've just bought one to complement my on the water rowing down here in Florida. It get's a bit steamy and although I live right on the water, if I get up too late (that is, if it's getting light) the humidity and sun is brutal. Ergo,...

Re: OTW splits vs ERG splits
A way to check it would be to wear a HR monitor and do 20 minutes in your single at 2:38 and then 20 minutes at 2:08 on your erg and compare the end HR. Then adjust the gap until you have the same end HR. Sorry for the long winded reply. I've spent some time thinking this trough. Thanks for the eff...

Re: OTW splits vs ERG splits
That was interesting Ralph - problem is I think the 1x option in this model is somewhat faster than my training scull which is quite draggy in comparison to a racing shell. (Edon TS515 see http://www.virginiarowing.com ) I suppose what I was looking for is some way of adjusting the fan (oartec Slide...

Re: OTW splits vs ERG splits
Is it possible to calibrate (does that mean fiddling with the fan?) an erg to give similar results to my Edon TS515 training scull (my best splits are 2:38 so it's not quite a racing shell). Just curious. I have just ordered an Oartec Slider and have spent less than a minute on a C2 D and am doing s...

Re: Oartec Slider
Rockin Roland, you say "The Oartec Slider can be set up on RowPro. I've described how it can be done previously on this forum(information as obtained from the bloke who designed the Oartec Slider)......" I can't find this post - can u give me a pointer pls? Thanks in anticipation, Patrick (thinking ...
