Make way - resident member of Taff team V pedalo has just arrived. Grand total of 5532 meters for the CTC challenge. May as well go straight to my boat now

Well done Blod. And someone for me to chase.

Today's effort was 31:06.7 - 2 minutes off yesterday's time and heck was it strenuous. Think I'll get back into this rowing lark a bit more sensibly now - not sure I should be doing 30 min all out efforts after 3 (well almost 6) months on the c...

Carla and Bore Da - thanks very much for the kind words and encouragement.

Having looked at the league table it's obvious that any team with a very weak member is at a huge disadvantage and it's a disincentive to the other members to try to better their times by a few seconds when I can ...

Hello again.
After Carla's email request for a female 6k attempt I have just completed one. However, I suspect it's as good as useless to you if not downright unhelpful! I haven't been on the rower since my session with Niall about 3 months ago so I managed to produce a woeful time of 33:18. Pl...

Chippy, Aussie Taff, Niall, many thanks for your replies. Niall that's a great offer - I do have my own model D but it'd be good to train with someone else and also nice to meet a fellow Taff so I'll take you up on it. Enjoy your holiday - going anywhere nice?

Hello again. I've lost all my enthusiasm for going on the rower! I've had back problems and for the last five weeks or so have been seeing an osteopath but even though she's happy for me to continue I'm afraid I've lost my motivation. Anyone any ideas for conjuring up some?

I also developed callouses even though I was only lightly hooking my fingers around the handle. I tried cycling mits but my hands got too hot. I then tried the hand pads from the UK site and they were ok but I still found them a bit uncomfortable. Finally I solved it by wrapping cycle handlebar tape...

I think you're right Fran - I can download the certificate but don't get a link to the t-shirt. I'd like to say I've been there, done it and got the t-shirt but looks like it's a US offer only.

I had the same problems when I first tried connecting the PM3 to my laptop last week. I also had to remove the batteries and reset the PM3. Next time round I disconnected every USB peripheral from my laptop (having read of similar problems on the UK site) and plugged in the connection cable to the P...
