phew, got late home from work but what the heck; I did my duties and 2nd 5k tonight. Not as fast as I was hoping for but still a decent work-out. Marylin, for the records I rowed a 17:55.7 - (and proudly beat Thomas on this one (he he he).

cheers all, looking forward to next weekend.<br /...

Is anyone still using the erow race server? I have been checking for the past couple weeks but don't see any races posted or run from there. But I can't find anywhere that support is officially pulled and it seems to be fully functional and up and running still.

To clarify: eRow is config...

I haven't rowed much since my trip to Europe unfortunately. Have been sick for a while and quite busy at work. Quite out of shape therefore. But I'm ready to turn up the online rowing volume again... Looking forward to do some weekend (handicap) racing again.

Any takers?

Cees

OK, let's push back the start half an hour then. Let's make sure though that everyone has made themselves familiar with the handicap rules so we don't have to waste time at the start. Mark made an excellent overview of the handicap etiquette a while ago over here:

<a href='http://concept2.ipb...

Based on the entries so far here's an overview of the handicaps. A second overflow race has been set up as well. At race day we'll divide in more than one race and determine final handicaps when more than 8 rowers show up.

<img src='http://www.rerow.com/pics/3K_handicap_schema.GIF' border='0'...

I can admin this event. I'd like to do another race before the holiday as I'll be out the 3 weeks thereafter. I'd suggest to row the race on Sunday instead of Saturday, hopefully that works for everyone.

The 3k handicap race is scheduled on the server, please enter with your Seasonal or Perso...

Same here, an available B rower looking for a partner. I can only row the second race (17:30 GMT). Paul, we can team up and take the handicap hit if you're up for it?

Cees

My ISP is doing maintenance work on the server today. Therefore the eRow scheduler pages are not available today. I would be in for a 3K too. As the 2k races in the area here are getting nearer, it's about time for me to focus on shorter, higher pace pieces. 3K is a great over-distance race if you're focussing on 2k races this winter... Bummer that it's not a nonathlon ranking distance though;

On the oth...

I agree with Mark, Marilyn and Nigel on the server issue. Races held at the new server at digitalrowing are still unstable as soon as there are rowers involved that are running RowpPro. eRow has a lot of small little flaws but it's reasonably stable and predictable. When running a race with up to 8 ...
