Re: New service
Out of curiosity, how do you record your workouts and how do you manage your data?

Re: Breathing through the nose while training
Hey guys I made a blog post about something which has really, and i mean REALLY helped me out while training. By breathing through my nose I believe I have made my training more effective, and by keeping my HR low I can increase my mileage every week. Very intriguing! Plus, anything that references...

Moving the erg backwards
Hey guys Last winter the gym I trained at always had ergs bolted into the ground so that they couldn't be moved. This winter I'm training somewhere else and the ergs are "free" to move about. I did 15000m piece without straps at about a 2:10 pace. When I got off I noticed that my erg and I were taki...

reference needed : Muscles are prone to injury when cold
Hi I'm looking for some literature that would talk about the risk of injury with respect to temperature.

csabour, I'm not an expert, but I have a question: I usually row at 25 SPM, but I see you go much slower. When you go slow, do you raise the damper up to a higher number, like 8 or 9? Thanks! Marvin Hi Marvin I row always at 125 drag factor That is the lightweight standard for rowing canada erg moi...

Paul, I'd just like to thank you for all your help over the years.. You've always given me invaluable advice. Sometimes I pull higher on certain erg workouts than others.... I think that by pulling in a few cm lower that would also fix the angle of my elbows coming back. Yeah I'm aware of my wrist p...

I've puked tons of time during training... only puked 3 times that i can remember after a 2k.... I think the biggest reason is that I wasn't adequately warmed up.... also coincidentally on those 2ks which i barfed my score was terrible and my race was really poor in the bottom 300m. I'd say the numb...
