I had been rowing for about 2 months with no weight loss. I felt good but I really need to loose the pounds. At 5"6"" I was almost at 190lbs. In reply to anthonys - I think if I rowed my ass off I would lose weight! There would be no time to eat. In those ships with the slave rowers - none were fat!

Thank-you to all who replied. Yes, my diet could stand some tweaking. I am not ready to give up on weight loss yet. My goal is to row for 45 min 6 day/week. I think I'll walk a few times per week as well. I love fruit. I can consume an entire watermelon in one day. but I think I need to eat more veg...

I have been erging for at least five weeks. I do at least 30 minutes per day sometimes 45 or 50. I have not lost a pound. I exercise six days per week.
