I take Toporol, it's a beta blocker for high blood pressure. Does this effect my heart rate when I'm working out? I'm concerned if my heart monitor reading reading is accurate. I need to lose weight so I'm rowing 10k almost every day. It's been one week and I've already lost 8 lbs. I need to lose 40. I've heard that if you do the same exercise for the same duration you body adapts and you don't lose weight as effectively. I like rowing this distance, do I have to alternate...

I've been training with a Model B I bought in 87. I just signed up to the forum. Does anybody know if the times are on my machine are the same as the newer model. Meaning is my 10,000 the same as a 10,000 on a new Concept 2?<br /><br />
